We found this home both restful and practical. The kitchen held quality cookware, sharp utensils, and dependable appliances, making quick dinners simple. Towels were soft and clean, with extras ready in the closet. By day the space felt bright and breezy, by night pleasantly still. The fenced yard added privacy for quiet coffee breaks. McPherson Road provided smooth access, steady lighting, and parking without hassle, with downtown Little Rock about eight miles away. The host was kind, attentive, and respectful, adding thoughtful touches that made our stay easy and memorable.
We loved the bright living room and airy layout, the kitchen had everything for simple meals, and linens felt fresh. McPherson Road is well kept with easy curbside parking, the neighborhood is peaceful and respectful.
The bad: This was listed as ‘sleeps 6’-there were 4 of us and there were only 3 bar stools and a wobbly sideboard for a table. I had to buy extra toilet paper, paper towels, dishrags, a cutting board, a spatula, and a few games. The one couch was worn (my son actually got a steam cleaner to hopefully leave it better than we found it) and there were limited kitchen utensils. The baseboards and ceiling fans were really dirty. The good: being able to park in the garage was worth a whole star. It was raining buckets when we were loading, which would’ve been a disaster without use of the garage. The extra space with rainy weather was great also. The beds were comfortable and there was enough hot water for everyone to shower without it running out. PET FRIENDLY for sure—the fenced in yard and tile throughout meant I didn’t have to stress about carpets or letting the dogs out to run. Laundry on-site was really nice to have. The appliances and kitchen were very clean, which made me less anxious about the dirt on the baseboards. In short, perfect for my young adult kids and both dogs, but I would not have wanted to be there with anyone else.
