'Casa Azul' on Golf Course w/ High-End Interior!

• Extremely disappointing booked this house for 4 nights only to have stayed all of an hour!

  This was the worst vacation rental we have ever stayed in! We are on the road for 4 hours and finally arrive with leaves covering the extremely steep driveway making it where we started losing traction just trying to get in the driveway. I have a big SUV and we struggled. My parents also came with us and they have a dualy with 4 wheel drive and they struggled going up the driveway! As soon as we get into the house it smells dirty with a cover up of too many lavender plugins! The house was extremely dirty, not like ohh they missed a couple of things dirty, which is understandable, but no this house was like dirty dirty. Trash in every corner of the floors including stairs, there were dead bugs everywhere. There were spiders webs as well as a black widow in the doorway. We've been on the road for hours so of course everyone had to use the bathroom but they were super nasty. Toilet seats had hair and yuck on them, there were sticky pee spots all on the floor, the mirror looked like kids had just smeared yuck all over them and they clearly hadn't been cleaned so then we start looking around more only to discover that the beds had hair particles and crumbs not only on the comforters but underneath the sheets as well. My parents left right away and me and my husband were standing there trying to figure out what we're going to do as it's 6pm and we and our kids are tired and hungry. So I start looking for a mop, vacuum, and cleaning supplies as well as extra sheets and blankets and can't find anything so I contact our host and let her know that my parents have left do the filth and we need cleaning supplies and she says she doesn't know where anything is because she hasn't been to the property in a long time and that she'll contact the owner. We can't find anything to clean with, which we shouldn't have had to, so i tell her that we are going to leave and we need a refund. She said the owner would give back half. We paid over 1200, used up my husband's vacation time and wasted gas just to have to turn around and leave a. Hour late. I then asked for the owners number and she said I cannot have it. I asked her how she was going to make it right and she has been ignoring me since. This was the absolute worse experience we have ever had. We drove 4 more hours back home that night. My kids and family were so disappointed!!! The host and owner should be ashamed of themselves! Do yourself a favor and skip this house. You'll save yourself a ton of money and wasted time!

  -The property is in a forested location, which can lead to occasional encounters with insects, but they understand this should not impact the cleanliness of the home. They’ve reached out to their cleaning crew to ensure that all surfaces, including floors, bathrooms, and bedding, are thoroughly cleaned between guests.
  -The homeowner confirmed that the home was checked by their broker just before your arrival, and they reported no issues with cleanliness or odors. However, the homeowner will reassess the cleaning procedures to ensure future guests have a better experience.
  -They apologize for any miscommunication with the guest contact and are reviewing how to better assist guests in similar situations.

  Property is very comfortable with 3 king beds and a fabulous view of the golf course. Well-appointed and great communication with home -owner.

  Good location, beautiful view of golf course and trees around! very spacious property, loved the balconies. it is 30-35 from casino fyi, but if you're not into that, it's perfect. master bath is very nice
