Comfortable with a lodge vibe
5/5 Very nice, comfortable home.
-Three levels: top floor with a huge bedroom and loft area with sofa and poker table. No bathroom up there so you'll have to use a half bath on the main level off the kitchen in the laundry room. There's also the master bathroom on the main level (through the master bedroom off the the living room). Downstairs has a large living room, bedroom (queen bed) and bathroom. It was like a private retreat for our daughter, husband and their baby.
-The kitchen was well stocked (coffee, tea, spices, crockpot, lots of pots and pans, etc.) The table was huge and we played board games (provided at the house) and put together puzzles while we ate.
-No fireplace on the main level but there was a fun, electric "fire" that we could turn on. -The beds were very comfortable.
-We were there in December so we didn't go down to the lake. It was very steep, as the reviews stated.
-Large 2 car garage that we were able to use to park.
-Lastly, this home is in the Village which has only two gates for guests to enter. It's about a 35 minute drive to downtown Hot Springs so, if that's your main reason for visiting, you may want to stay closer to town. There are restaurants in the Village and a grocery store just outside the gates so you don't have to drive far if you want to stay near the house.
5/5 It was absolutely gorgeous. The house had so much space and games for the family to play. Came in handy since it rained most of our stay. The steep hill down to the water made me definitely decide to not go back down to water more than once but it was overall a great place to stay. There was 4 adults and 5 kids ages 11-17 and there was plenty of space and loved each floor had a hang space its was nice.

5/5 We had an amazing time! The house was perfect for our family, we had our 3 sons and their girlfriends and had plenty of room for everyone. The only draw back was how hard it was to get to the water. It’s a very steep slope. But overall it was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back!
