  Beautiful home, so quiet and cozy. Enjoyed my mornings drinking coffee on the porch and watching all the native bugs and bird.

  10/10 loved everything about this stay. Such a unique home and close to so many places! Great communication with the owner and parking was not an issue.

  We appreciated how clean and well stocked the house was. Even though it was old, it had all the amenities needed and loaded with charm.

  Thank you, Denise, for your stay and kind words about our historic home. We’re so glad to hear you appreciated all the old “charm” we strove to restore to the house while we were renovating it. We decorated the home with artistic touches like marble tile for the upstairs bathroom with the claw-foot tub and uncovered many layers of wallpaper, dating back to the Art Deco era of the 1910’s, and preserved that under varnish. The spacious kitchen and downstairs bathroom are more colorful and were inspired by the owners’ background in art, particularly with the mosaic-tiled bath surround. And yes, we take great pride in making the house comfortable with all the amenities you’d expect from a newer home. Y’all were great guests, and we would love to host your family again!
