Workforce Planning Analyst

The Position

As a hospitality company, we rely on our team of Evolvers to provide the highest caliber of customer service and support. As our Workforce Planning Analyst, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time to meet the growing needs of our customers. As part of the core FP&A team and in partnership with business leaders across the organization, you’ll provide workforce insights with the purpose of optimizing resources to achieve key business results. You’ll leverage large datasets to understand labor hours, scheduling, performance metrics, incentive plans, and customer demand. While you won’t be directly scheduling our teams, you’ll serve in a mission-critical role with a strong understanding of how planning and forecasting staffing requirements translate to the creation of optimal schedules that maximize business results and teammate engagement.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Provide relevant data monitoring and workforce analytics to make necessary adjustments in an effort to maximize resource efficiency and achieve service level goals and related business results
  • Perform continual analysis of current performance (noting recent historical trends) and conduct re-forecasting to make necessary adjustments in staffing plans in close collaboration across teams
  • Maintain constant communication with teams to coordinate needed staffing adjustments based on current and forecasted results
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce customer demand (call/email/chat) volume forecasts 
  • Help calculate and analyze monthly incentive payouts for teams
  • Help generate short and long-term staffing models and provide recommendations based on analysis
  • Compare results to forecast and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Build and provide performance reports to leadership

 

What we are looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience in performing WFM functions or Financial Analysis in a high growth environment required
  • Must have an excellent working knowledge of Excel and have the ability to organize/analyze data in a structured manner
  • Demonstrated analytical skills using data analysis tools (SQL/Python) strongly preferred, including the ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions, and present recommendations 
  • Complete understanding of overall operational activities including phone, email, chat
  • Capacity planning experience required
  • Experience with WFM/scheduling software preferred
